It's hard not to love fresh flowers, whether they are from your own garden or the local market. I have a little helper who loves to water and cut flowers from our garden for the kitchen counter :) It always makes me smile! During the holidays I am known to place sprigs of rosemary ALL OVER the house, especially in the main entry to greet guests. pure grace wants to see your favorite flowers!! Post your favorite shots on Instagram to hashtag #bypuregraceflowers. Pics can be from your flower or herb garden, a special occasion or simply a picture you love! Leave a note about your pic and I will post the winner on the blog next week! Here is one of my all time favorites ... a shot of my bouquet from our wedding.
Let There Be Light
6.08.2013
One of the first things I notice about a home are the windows - how much sunlight illuminates each room and the ambiance that is created. For me the light is energizing and brings the small details of a home to life. Even the gloomiest of days can be inviting. In the search for our new home, I hope to create tranquility such as this ... Which one is your favorite?
Have a great weekend!

Finally ... a Before & After
5.07.2013
I started out with very good intentions ... a goal of posting pictures of my first remodel as I worked my way through the house. Who was I kidding?!?! That would have required me to sit still for a few hours!! Two years ago I purchased my first home, a wonderful feeling and an incredible opportunity to make something my own! As I mentioned here, I recently got married and have updated my humble abode to include two very special people! Just a few weeks ago my husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary and decided it was time to find a place to call "our home". We have loved our time here and are excited about finding a place to enjoy even more memories with our family and friends. Here are a few pics of our house now, a before and after I hope you enjoy as much as we have! Amazing what paint, new carpet, a few light fixtures and some hard work can do :)
